Must be written in blue or black ink only—no colored pens or pencils.
Set up as Cornell, or two-column notes. Must have a line dividing left and right sides of each page. Just folding is not acceptable.
Table of contents listed before each chapter, with page numbers corresponding to each assignment.
Starting with the first “Think About It” of the chapter, all pages must be numbered—“Think About It” is page 1, etc.
Each assignment must start on a new page of your notebook. For example, when you finish the “Digging Deeper” notes, the “Check Your Understanding” must begin, and be labeled, on a new page.
Leave a space between each question on the Investigations, Check Your Understandings, Understanding and Applyings, and Inquiring Furthers.
All answers must restate the question and be written in complete sentences.
Grade sheets must be attached to inside front cover. Put the first one at the top, and leave room for another one at the bottom. If you plan on using only one notebook per chapter, you can put the grade sheet in the middle.
The activity number must be written on the top left side of each page, between the red line and the line you drew to separate the left and right sides of your notebook pages.
